B is a single parent who had been living in a women's refuge with her children, after fleeing domestic violence. She isn't working, has no savings and her only income is Universal Credit. B entered the refuge with only the clothes on her back, and is now rebuilding her life. She has been granted a property with a local social landlord, but there are no floor coverings down. B has been given free carpets, but help with the fitting cost would be a dream come true for her and truly allow her to begin again.

K was released from prison just before Christmas and was given just £96 to live on until his benefits payments are sorted out, which may take up to six weeks. He is currently homeless and spending much of his time out in the cold. We would like to provide him with supermarket gift cards so that he can buy food and also some warm clothing. Your help to assist K through this difficult time would be much appreciated.
