Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

T lives with her son and they are both in poor health. She suffers with respiratory problems and often needs hospital treatment, and her son has paranoid schizophrenia for which he takes daily medication. Their flat is sparsely furnished and they just have one, very battered, easy chair and some small garden chairs to sit on. We would like to provide them with a sofa so that they have somewhere more comfortable to sit, and they would also appreciate a vacuum cleaner to help keep the dust at bay.

Total needed £200Z has left rehabilitation and is finally clean from drugs! He has many physical and mental health difficulties and isn't able to work at the moment. Z has been given a small flat, but there is no bed or sofa so he is sleeping on the floor at the moment. We are working with him to restore his sense of dignity, and it would make so much difference for him to have a bed. Z only receives basic benefits and is struggling to get anything for his flat. Please could we help him with a bed? Thank you!

G has moved into a small flat, but with no washing machine he is finding it very difficult, as leaving the flat to walk two miles to the laundrette, and seeing people is causing too much anxiety.
