This family of four was referred to us by Southend City Council and is currently in need of support, due to having no recourse to public funds. They are living in a one bedroom property with no furniture, and the entire family is sleeping on the floor. We are urgently seeking your assistance to provide two single beds and mattresses for their children, which will greatly improve their living conditions and provide some much needed comfort. Any support would be greatly appreciated.

Total needed £200This single mum, who is caring for her two children, has been through a really difficult time recently. She has really poor mental health which means that every day tasks are too much. Mum has asked for a tumble dryer to help keep on top of the washing for her and her children. Due to the children being young, and with limited space, mum was really worried about the children touching the heated airer, and was really keen for a tumble dryer. Please could you help this family? Thank you so much.

Total needed £190This family, who have three daughters, are looking for a way to spend more time together. The two older daughters are active and love playing at the park, however, the youngest has a serious, limiting illness, needing constant care and supervision. Mum and dad feel that they don't get to spend time with their eldest daughters, and would love to utilise their back garden by installing a swing set with climbing wall so that they can take any opportunity to get outside and have some much needed fun together.

Total needed £200B is a mum to two little girls and a little boy. Her only income is Universal Credit and she is unable to work, due to her poor mental health. Mum has severe anxiety and depression, following the murder of her sister. She has lived in her house for over two years and has no carpets down. Her home is cold, damp and unsafe for her children. We can carpet it free of charge, but we need a little hep with the fitting costs. If lovely Acts 435 donors could help B, that would be just amazing.

Total needed £200This two year old boy was born very prematurely, resulting in a weakened immune system. He has often not able to go out to the park or play groups, as a simple cold can make him unwell and in need of hospitalisation. Professionals have advised the family to buy an indoor slide and balance beam to help with balance and coordination. They struggle financially, due to mum being a single parent. Mum is also unable to work as she is grieving the loss of the boy's twin brother, who passed away shortly after the birth.

Recently, their teenage child has permanently moved in with them and urgently needs a wardrobe, which X cannot afford as they are currently on a very tight budget and life has become more expensive providing for two people in the household. If you can help, it would relieve a lot of pressure from X and their child.

Total needed £150We are working closely with a local primary school to support a mum of small children who has been relocated to Bradford from London and has no local family support. Financially, they are struggling and her tenancy agreement does not include an oven, so this is her responsibility, but without the means to find one. Mum opened up about this need at a parent café the school runs to support families.

They are now rehoused, but mum is unable to work as she cares for her child who is less than a year old. D attended our foodbank and is understandably struggling practically, emotionally and financially. £100 to get pots, pans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery would enable her to replace lost items and prepare and serve meals for herself and her child, making it feel more like home.
