Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

This lady, who lives with her fifteen year old son, is struggling financially, especially with food, gas and electric bills. She receives benefits, but finds it hard to make ends meet. Her friend has asked for our help as she is concerned about her. I am able to take a food parcel to this lady, but she would really appreciate some help with food and utilities via a donation from Acts 435. Please would you help her? Thank you.

Total needed £200S, who has been widowed, has five children to support. She works part-time, but has been struggling financially to manage alone, due to the cost of living and bills increasing. Mum receives no benefits currently for two of the children. She is being supported by Children's Services and Citizens Advice Bureau for budgeting, and a local charity for clothing and items for the home. The local foodbank will not offer further support to S, and we would appreciate any donations for food vouchers, whilst budgeting and other support is put in place.

Total needed £150My client has finally reached out to Christians Against Poverty, following a traumatic bereavement and expected death. This has resulted in her putting her head in the sand and the debts escalating. No matter how many extra hours she works, my client cannot clear the debts. She works very hard in a care home and is putting effort and time into helping those in need. It would be amazing to bless her too. Our client often goes without to give to her grandchildren. Please can you help?

Total needed £200This lady who has three children and is on a low income, has just had a car break down which she managed to afford to pay. However, then the tumble drier broke down and then finally the cooker. Mum now doesn't have any spare cash to get a replacement cooker and is in need of help. Mum is working part-time so that she can be at home for her young family as much as possible, but she has only got a limited income and would be grateful for some help.
